Beautiful

I love fashion photography, I've been thinking about doing that as well as design in the future. It 's like a music video to a song, if you love a specific artist you're going to want to see their new video right?

Italian Vogue

I love fashion and fashion photography, and I realized I haven't blogged about it at all and it's a great passion of mine. So I came across some pictures from the all black issue of Italian Vogue from last July and these are some of my fav's.

Sylvia and John

A Better Resurrection

I have no wit, I have no words, no tears;

My heat within me like a stone

Is numbed too much for hopes or fears;

Look right, look left, I dwell alone;

A lift mine eyes, but dimmed with grief

No everlasting hills I see;

My life is like the falling leaf;

O Jesus quicken me.

Sylvia Plath

This poem used to hit home earlier last year, I would read it and just think that's perfect. It's one of my favorite poems.

On a happier note, "The Good Morrow" is my all time favorite poem, and I just think everyone should know about it. It's so romantic and sweet, perfect for weddings. But it's also about self identity and knowing what you want, who you are with out it, who you are with it and who you want to be. And it's nice to hear a grown man speak of love with a woman with such an honest longing in his voice, just to be with her.

The Good-Morrow

I wonder by my troth, what thou and I
Did, till we loved? were we not wean'd till then?
But suck'd on country pleasures, childishly?
Or snorted we in seven sleepers' den?
'Twas so; but this, all pleasures fancies be;
If ever any beauty I did see,
Which I desired, and got, 'twas but a dream of thee.

And now good-morrow to our waking souls,
Which watch not one another out of fear;
For love all love of other sights controls,
And makes one little room an everywhere,
Let sea-discoverers to new worlds have gone;
Let maps to other, worlds on worlds have shown;
Let us possess one world; each hath one, and is one.

My face in thine eye, in mine thine appears,
And true plain hearts do in the faces rest;
Where can we find to better hemisperes
Without sharp north, without declining west?
Whatever dies, was not mix'd equally;
If our two loves be one, or thou and I
Love so alike none can slacken, none can die.

Camera Obscura

     Okay, so have liked this Scotish pop/alternative band called Camera Oscura for a while now, but the more I research them the more obsessed I become. This is my kind of music, I haven't been able to find a band that can satisfy all I want just by listening to them exclusively in a long time.
Usually I wear myself out when I find a new band and soon the music is old news and I start to hate it, but I have played they're music everyday for 5 weeks straight and I just love it! I strongly encourage everyone to look them up and listen to at least one song. My current favorites are "If looks could kill" and "Lloyd I'm ready to be heartbroken". It's good music to do homework to or dance around in your room in the morning when getting ready. Even cry too. The lyrics are amazing as well, very clever and metaphoric.
